After much thought and mental preparation, I decided that today was the day that I will tackle such a project. So I started by myself and then my neighbor came and helped me with my son. Thank goodness too because I was thinking of giving up when I saw the overwhelming amount of spiders. The dog poo was easier because that I could do with a shovel and at a distance but pulling up the weeds are a different story. We saw 5 lady bugs, 1 potato bug, and billions of spiders. Anyway, perhaps this might give you motivation to get your garden ready for the planting season.

Life in the Fast Lane
Holy Cow! Time is just flying by. I can't believe that my oldest is in primary giving themes, prayers, and participating in singing time. I also can't believe that my little baby is now 4 months old. It seems like I just barely had him in the hospital. Now he is starting to eat solid food. I never dreamed of the day that this would happen. I heard my parents talk about how life just speeds up but I never quite believed it because when you are little, things just take forever to come (like getting my driver's license or going inside the temple). Each day I decided that no matter how frustrated I get with my situation, that I need to hold onto these perfect memories because before I know it, they will be too old to want to hang on me and play legos and let me hold and cuddle them. Sometimes, I need to let my house chores be on hold and listen to my son's story or hold my little baby while he coos at me. These moments are the ones I want to remember, not that day that I loaded the dishes, or vacuumed my carpet, or picked up the living room, or cleaned the bathroom. While all those things are important, I want to remember that they can wait and that my little ones need to, and I want them to, come first. Family is forever and I am grateful for my little forever I have thus far.

Tommy vs. Devon
Deep down I knew that my kids were going to be different. How did I know this? Because everyone, and by I mean everyone, I mean EVERYONE that I knew all said that they will have their own personalities and you'll be surprised how different they are. Well, I took that to heart but somewhere I figured they would have similarities. But as for right now, this is what I have found... They are similar in the fact that they are both boys. I think that's really the only similarity I found. Here are the differences between them:
1. Devon LOVED baths and would smile and sometimes fall asleep while taking his bath. Tommy freaks out overtime he gets in the water.
2. Devon would have a waterfall of spit up coming out after every feeding and even between feedings. We even gave him acid reflex medicine but it did jack squat. Tommy spits up but its nothing like his brother. He maybe spits up like his brother once or twice a week.
3. Tommy has more of my dominant genes whereas Devon looks identical to his daddy :)
4. Devon LOVES car rides. He would be calm the whole time without a sound. Tommy cries after being in there for 5 or more minutes.
5. Devon hated tummy time and Tommy just loves it.
6. Devon would not take a pacifier even if his life depended on it. Tommy on the other hand can't survive the day without his.
Anyway, those are just some of the differences. If you think of more, comment below. I think it'd be fun to see more :)
Now lets play a game. Its called, "Is This Devon or Tommy" to see if you're right, just click after the question mark and highlight the answer. I hope that makes sense.
