Mother-Daughter Campout

I had the bestest time with my Mommy on our mother-daughter campout. It was so fun to hang out with her and to be able to make so many precious memories. I have the coolest mom. I cherish these memories and decided to share them with you through this video. It doesn't capture ever amazing moment but it definitely got some good experiences in there. Love you mom

This campout was God's Tender Mercy at work. Tears fill eyes as I watch this because I went to girl's camp with your sister, Lani and had precious time with her that I will always remember!! My heart always looked back because there was something missing in not being able to have mother-daughter campout with you. Then I get the phone call and my heart rejoiced! God did not forget my heart and now it is filled with joyous memories of a funterrific kinda mother-daughter campout!! These pictures are proof that God did not forget to answer prayers, sometimes it's just that... patience. I never seen this coming by a long shot but it came and went with a bang! YaY!! I want to take a moment to thank my husband, Tom for helping me get to the camp so both his daughter and wife would have memories of love they needed. To me that showed what I loving man I married! I want to also thank Spencer for being that loving husband to take care of their little toddler, Devon, so his wife could spend needed mother and daughter time together. What awesome men we have in our lives! Gathering good family memories is what life is about. Thank you, April for inviting your mama. From me... to you...I love you!!

April, thank you for being so fun and caring throughout the campout! It was fun looking at the stars and talking about anything and everything. [Lani reminded me of the bears in the campground as I told her that we went exploring. eeeek. Glad we didn't shake hands with any hungry bears! You sleeping on the top bunk throwing your head over the edge to look at me and talk was so freakin' fun :) The 'un-campfire] made for an interesting night. Your friends are stinkin' amazing! They love you so much and it makes me feel good to know that you are loved not only by me :) Going on the challenge course, came with it's challenge. Especially walking on a log without hands [thanks for your example by going before me and doing that! All I can say to that is your are inspiring and dang daring but that is what I love about you! I thought I had only had one chance at this because I probably won't be doing this again. Do I copy you by doing it without hands... reason stared me in the face and I said... why the hell not! oops. Seeing your smiling face while cheering me on was worth every risk I took!... and I will always remember that when times are rough. To hold my head up and not whine and complain and push myself to think positively and look for the positive and GO FOR THE GUSTO!! Memorable weekend... Memorable indeed!
